    Hi All,

I’m just wondering if any of you have insured a Model 18 or 15? If so, which insurance company have you used and what policy. I have spoken to Bikesure and Lexham and they have both told me they cannot insure the bike. I have explained that it is an electric bike but built like a moped, has all the characteristics of an electric bike in terms of motor, speed etc but they won’t cover it. I don’t want to just purchase insurance for an electric bike and find they won’t cover it if I needed to make a claim.

    Look forward to your input.

    Try ETA http://www.eta.co.uk.
They insure my 18 and 15 before that They do specify a gold standard cycle lock silver motorbike lock is the same level.
Cost insured £2000 Paid monthly £13.74 per month you get emergency call out if you break down, theft and third party.

Hi I insured my model 18 with Lexham and have the same cover as Kendrick exactly and I made perfectly sure they new it was scooter shaped and the only thing they would not insure was the panels .Brian
