E-bikes are taking over! Well, in Holland at least
The Dutch government is considering plans for an electronic-bicycle freeway in Holland, linking major cities through a new road infrastructure designated to allow for those riding E-bikes to travel up to 30mph on their very own designated route. The proposal follows an increase in the popularity of 50cc e-bikes like our Model 30, which are able to travel up to 30 miles per hour throughout Europe, with Germany and Switzerland having already established a separate class for higher-powered electric bicycles, which face less stringent requirements than moped and other two-wheelers.
I’m afraid the UK is behind the curve on cheap, environmentally friendly transport.
