Interested in the speed of the Model 15/Model 18. The site quotes these as hitting 25kmh, yet several posts on here talk of higher speeds for the same models with marginal peddling. Just how difficult is it to say, get to 25mph with a Model 18/15? Have you got to work up a sweat or spend a while peddling, or does the motor do most of the work?
Thanks!November 10, 2018 at 12:12 pm #7887stevenParticipant
Hi Flashman, on my 18 I get roughly 29 mph with continual pedderling u don’t have to use much exsertion the motor takes most of the strain
Tell me how you get onNovember 10, 2018 at 1:07 pm #7888flashmanParticipant
Ah thanks. Say if you compare your journey to the Google Maps cycling time, how much of a difference? I guess it’s hard to get an idea of the Model 18 acceleration without actually using one.May 27, 2019 at 10:25 pm #8507sherlocklhParticipant
I got my model 15 today. It managed 20-25kph quite easily, even on a slight incline. A few very effortless pedal turns took it up to 42kph very quickly. I didn’t need to pedal much at all to keep a decent speedMay 27, 2019 at 10:50 pm #8510stevenParticipant
I average 47 kph on my 18 if I pedal
Just as long as you turn the pedals your all right
