Recently bought a Model 18, and been having a blast with it so far. Decided to take out the battery well today to see if I could find out what’s causing a recent rattling noise around the crankset that’s started in the last week or so that just bugs me when I notice it when I noticed there were some disconnected wires coming out of the controller in the rear. They’re an orange pair with connectors just hanging out next to the white cables that control the throttle limit.
I can’t for the life of me figure out what they’re for or if they’re just entirely vestigial and wondered if anyone knew what they did.
Also if anyone knows which connectors are for the PAS so I can put disengage it (or add a sneaky cutoff switch), that’d be awesome too.
I can’t help you with the unconnected wires but as for the PAS cable that i can help with its a small 3 way black connector just where it is found in the 18 i can’t remember personally I just disconnected it.
