Sand and rain

Hi guys
I live beside the sea and I’m wondering how these bikes fair against sand and rain seeing as they’re electric? Does anyone have problems with water getting into the electrics? Am I ok to ride down the promenade when it’s blowing a gale and sand flying everywhere?

I live by the sea and so far had no problems, but I don’t ride of road ,been in the wet it really pored down once got soaked but I didn’t get electrocuted,hope this helps
