I love that I don’t have to fill up with petrol anymore. I do about 4 miles a day and recharge every 3rd day.
It is ideal for me and the distance I ride. Shame the website this one and the people who make it in china say 60k before charging as that is completely false. (regardless of hills, weight etc, I ride up no large hills)
It rides nice, shame, I can never do more than 29mph, it does keep me legal, but even down a slope it doesn’t go faster. 33mph would have been nice.
Yes it is covered at home, but the cover is too large to take with me to the train station and this has made the bolts keeping the wheel on at the back and the springs rust like mad. I have never had rust before on the suspension springs in all my other bikes.
As a first electric bike it is good , but I think I need a slightly more powerful engine to give me a better kick from the lights, 33mph , a battery that doesn’t need charging as much and rust free springs.
Does me proud though and niggles aside it does the job I bought it for.
